Many women feel that if they keep a pair of shoes long enough, they will return to the top of the acceptable fashion footwear styles of the year. As people shop for shoes, they come across many shoe styles that are vintage and some are certain to bring back some fun memories. A hand tooled slingback wedge might help some women remember a day at the park many years before when a man asked for their hand in marriage. The tooling on the shoe might remind a woman of the work her father performed when he created a special pair of shoes for a school play.
The high heeled stiletto shoes are very popular today, but these vintage shoes styles were what made some movie stars famous and soldier’s and Sailors around the world can remember seeing a lusty pin-up model wearing the exact style of stilettos on the day the war treaties were signed. The parents could revert to another period in time by donning vintage shoe styles such as flip flops that made them remember a marvelous concert called Woodstock.
