Equitation Chaps
Field Boot Question?
I ride Hunt Seat Equitation flat and over fences. I’m still pretty new to competing and so far I’ve been able to wear a polo, breeches, paddock boots and half chaps. I have show coming up in October and I’ll have to be wearing the formal show attire. I have everything except for field boots. I really don’t have the money for a pair of custom boots yet since I just bought my TB. Can anyone recommend field boots that are reasonably priced, but still acceptable in the show ring? Thanks!
I am looking for tall boots.
The Ariat Heritage II is a great field boot. Fairly inexpensive-I think around $135-and they break in really easily. They look nice, and are definitely acceptable in the show ring. They don’t last forever, but they’re a good first tall boot. I know alot of people (including myself) that really like these boots.
